Application Directions - Copy and Print

1. Clean surface with a streak free window cleaner a couple of times where sticker/decal is to be applied. If applying to paint make sure there is no wax on that area, you can use a wax remover solvent that's safe for paint. Apply in warm temperature above 65 degrees. Please note: If applied in cold weather, sticker might stick but will come off easy. Adhesive needs time to cure. When temperature is very hot, do not apply in direct sunlight, apply in the shade.

2. Position sticker where you want it, apply a small piece of masking tape on the top corners to hold sticker in position. Now stick a piece of masking tape on either side of the sticker making sure half the tape is on the sticker and half is on the surface, cut tape long enough so that it overlaps the ends of the sticker.

3. Flip sticker over so that it is facing backwards (sticky side facing out). Long piece of tape is to hold sticker in place while you do this. SLOWLY peel back wax paper away from sticker (if Sticker is stuck to the wax paper lay sticker flat and rub that area down and try again). If this is a small sticker peel the whole backing paper off, If this a large sticker peel backing paper half way off.

4. Flip sticker back over (sticker facing towards the surface to be applied to). Hold one end of the sticker taut, be careful not to let sticker touch itself or the surface. Now with your other hand (start where the masking tape holds the sticker) rub sticker up and down if masking tape is vertical, rub side to side if masking tape is horizontal, make sure you overlap with every up and down, side to side rub. This is to ensure you get no bubbles.

5. There will be a top transfer paper that needs to be removed, before you do this rub sticker down again with fingers or a squeegee to ensure adhesion. Remove top transfer paper, pull paper sideways against the surface SLOWLY (don't just pull paper outward) if sticker lifts from the surface stick it back down and rub that area down again. If there are any bubbles on the sticker use a needle or a razor blade to poke a hole, press the air out through the hole. Rub sticker down again with fingers. If wet lightly press sticker down starting from the center outward. Do not use squeegee, this will scratch the sticker.

6. Wet application (good for large stickers) follow steps 1, 2, 3 peel wax paper backing all the way off. In a large spray bottle full of water put just 1 drop of dish soap. Spray the back of the sticker and the surface. Lay sticker on surface, use a hard squeegee to take out water trapped from under the sticker, start from the middle, work your way out at the same time while holding the sticker in place. Remove the masking tape. Sticker will have to sit for about 5-15 minutes to dry before you remove the top sheet paper. You may need to squeegee the water out again and let dry. Again start from the center work your way outward. Go to step 5.

7. They are other ways of applying stickers, I find this the easiest. If you are unsure on how to apply, have a local sign shop do the install (fees may apply)
